Dr. Mark Tomlin

"Growing up I did not even know what a chiropractor was until…

Dr. Mark Tomlin

My Dad had a pinched nerve in his neck. He went to his medical doctor who prescribed different drugs and when they did not help he went to physio and that did not help either. So when that neck pain started running down his arm and when he started having difficulty doing up a button on his shirt because he was losing the ability to move the arm, a friend referred him to a chiropractor. After several visits to this Doctor of Chiropractic he was healed of his arm pain and his strength came back. I always knew I wanted to be some type of health practitioner and when my Dad was healed of his pain I was amazed that it could be helped without drugs or performing surgery! That’s Chiropractic. It is truly a honor and blessing to be to help people get back on track with their health.

Education

I obtained my Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 1983. I then attended the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago where I obtained my Doctor of Chiropractic in 1987. In 1998, I obtained a Fellowship from the International Chiropractic Association in Pediatrics.

Practice Philosophy

I envision a world of optimum health and human potential. Our mission is to serve as many people as possible with the highest quality of chiropractic care so that they can live a long and healthy life free from drugs and surgery. I am truly amazed by the power that is in each one of us and how health can be restored once that power is released through the chiropractic adjustment. I see patients from new born babies to seniors, athletes and non-athletes who just want to be healthy, more active, live longer and be more fully alive.

About Me

I am married to Denise who I met at chiropractic college and together we have raised three beautiful girls. I enjoy spending time with my four ladies when not in practice and as our girls grow I cherish more now than ever the time we are able to spend together. I also enjoy playing golf in the summer and watching the Raptors and Leafs in action.

I personally believe that it is important to take care of ourselves to prevent sickness and disease and that is why I get adjusted regularly, eat well and work out on a regular basis. I enjoy running, lifting weights, basketball and the outdoors. Our entire family gets adjusted regularly to keep healthy. This has been shown by the fact that our girls have never been on antibiotics.

I want to thank-you for visiting our website. I look forward to meeting with you in person to discuss your health concerns. You can call our Mississauga office to book an appointment or email me using the link below.
